Why The U.P.?

A trip to visit a friend in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula changed everything. The lake-effect powder, the friendly locals, and the quiet, uncrowded slopes made learning to ski feel effortless and fun.

I fell in love with this place so much that I moved here.

People always ask, “Who moves to the U.P. on purpose?”
Me. Skiers. People who love real winter and a slower pace of life.
